Guys. Guys. We're trying to have a culture here.
Isn't culture just a fancy way to say ironically enjoying shit things? I challenge you to give any other reason why the Composition in Red, Blue, and Yellow is a thing.

Abstract art seems prima facie stupid but it's actually pretty cool, it's a complex process to try to create a piece of art while trying to separate yourself from influences of the natural world you've witnessed.

I genuinely like it as a piece of decorative art. I don't find any extra value in the original physical work (although I understand where it comes from: hype), and I don't find any special philosophical point to it that hadn't been made by the epic troll Duchamp four years earlier and a zillion times better. But I like it, and I would hang it in my room if drilling the wall wasn't such a pain in the ass.
